Making each student an all-round Musician!
There are 5 essential capabilities required to be a complete musician. The Big Smile trains a student in each section separately, in a manner most suitable for developing that particular skill in the student.

Performance
The performance section helps a student to perform songs by memory showcasing flair and musical ability, technical and pianistic technique, and also ability to make expert use of the various keyboard functions.

Technicality
Technical skills refer to the degree of mastery, and ease of playing an instrument. This includes physical abilities such as playing of scales, arpeggios and finger exercises. In addition, it also includes knowledge of the various keyboard functions such as beats, tones, tempo, registration memory, etc., which make the keyboard the unique instrument that it is.

Sight Reading
This section assesses the ability of the student to read any music score – piano and keyboard - at sight. This is one of the most important, and also most dreaded topics in music learning but is now overcome with a software designed by the Big Smile.

Musicality
It is this quality that distinguishes a skillful performer from an inspiring musician. Musicality refers to the inherent musical flow and creativity of the students – the ability to create, compose, improvise, communicate and romance the audience. Once students learn to access and develop this musicality, they no longer need to ape the great masters of music . . they are on the way to becoming masters themselves.

Theory
A complete and true understanding of music is possible only by understanding the rules and concepts on which music is based. This strong foundation then enables the student to go beyond just performing pieces written by other musicians, and helps him to experiment and explore his own musicality in a coherent and structured manner.
